  Was visiting a friend in SLT. Went to St T about 3pm when arrived in town hoping to make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. Rang doorbells no answer. Guess I did not have on the right clothes. Went to the 8am Mass today.Mustabeen irish retired priest. Raced thru the liturgy. No Confetior. No homily. Raced through an abbreviated version of the Eucharistic prayer. Should I be glad I do not live there but was only visiting? Father priests. You might be burned out and bored with reciting these words for years on end. But if you really want the Church to live and thrive please at least make the effort to bring some fresh new rejuvenating WORD to the people you are ordained to serve. If you are tired and bored what the heck do you expect of us nobodies in the pews. if not for us you would be out of a job. Would I approach a bored priest for the Sac of Reconciliaion? Heck no. But at least the liturgy was in English, my home language. No longer the case in my home.parish. I am grateful for that. As well as.the.opportunity to attend Holy Mass. Thank you.

  The new priest it's really wonderful!
  I love the way he comes down to the congregation during his sermon, and how he makes the sermons so understandable and personal.

  Our family was in Lake Tahoe in May for our mom's 90th birthday and it was the highlight of the trip to have a blessing from the priest at St. theresa church. Thank you.

  The church was open at 9:30 in the morning. A Filipino family led the novena to our Mother of Perpetual Help.
  We returned on Christmas day for the 12 noon Mass and the service was solemn and the choir was excellent! At the end of the service, the Pastor gave out a copy of 'Rediscover Jesus" as Christmas present to the community.
